I was spending time with the Lord today and just wanted to encourage everyone to keep these times in perspective! Hope you enjoy! David
James 1:2-4, My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete , lacking nothing.
You bring out Your chosen people from among the captives as a testimony to Your children that You are able! Lest there have been captivity how would I have know that there was no chains that could hold bound those whom You have called! Each thing in this life is not about my ability to overcome. It is about Your testifying to each man of Your great power! You speak of Your faithfulness by the circumstances that cause me to depend on You! How would I have known You could lead me through the wilderness lest You have allowed a wilderness for me to be led through? How could I know that You rescue me from the enemy lest You allow an enemy to rescue me from? How could I know the wickedness of my heart lest You allow me to walk after my heart? How could I have known Your mercy lest You allow me to put myself in a position where I need Your mercy? How could I have known You provide for me lest You allow me to be in a position where only You can provide? How could I know that You give me wisdom lest You allow a problem that exhausts my supply of ideas? How could I have known my foolishness lest You allow my foolishness to manifest itself? How could I have known my need for Your strength to stand lest You allow the situation that reveals my best efforts fail me in my efforts to stand? How could I know that You meet me in the quiet place lest there be a noisy place where You are not? How could I have known my thinking was not Your thinking lest my expectations were not met so that I might see that You have something greater! You are good! Life is not about overcoming the enemy. What need is there to overcome that which You have already defeated. He merely is a pawn which God uses to show His greatness to those whom He loves! Life is an illustration of who You are. Each circumstance reveals to me that which is hidden in my heart. Every situation, a picture that reveals Your character to those whom You love. Each one of us is really the center of Your world. You made it like that. You wrote a story about each one of us. Each chapter testifies of how You came to show Yourself to us. Each book is about Your child.
John 17:3, And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Times and sequences of times.
There are times and sequences of times that must come to fruition and be fulfilled before the errant ways are to subside. I emplore my children to walk in the wisdom of my ways and my times so that you needn't walk in the wilderness of your own ways. I will lead you, I will lead your nation. You needn't worry about the epoch damage that appears to be happening. I will take this nation and create a new one, one with a heart for my ways. My timing and my ways have always been different than your timing and ways. Look to me, look to your future with me. I am telling you now. The only time that you need to be aware of is the time you spend with me. I am looking to the future, the past does not hold me. I am in charge of the past and the future and I will not let your inheritance be stolen. Am I not available 24/7. Have you ever truly found anyone else who was? Who is there with you at 3:33 in the morning, yes 3:33 in the morning. That is my time and my timing, do not shut me out. Do not postpone our meeting. I am aware of your every need. I can rearrange your day, I can start it at a different time each day. Do not worry about the times and the ways of the times. Let loose, let loose some of your standards about time.
Enter into the gates of provision and I will give you the dreams of your inheritance. Do not go back to the old ways of thinking and desiring. I am putting new desires in your heart and you need to release the old ones. Those were for old dreams and for old days. These are new days and I am giving you a new dream, a new word, a new development. Do not rely on what you have known from the past. This is not the past, this is not the past, this is not the past. I am leading you in a new and clear direction. Take the time, take the time to hear what I am saying to you. I have a new revelation for you. I have a heart that you have not known. It is time, a time of epoch changes. Take the time to hear and learn and feel the changes. You will be altered. You will feel the shift. You will not have to wonder if this is what I am talking about because when it hits you will feel it. You will feel the altering of time and times and sequences of times. You will feel them and you will know what I am talking about. Time, times and portions of times I give to you.

Is He being silent or.........
Sometimes I think that God is not speaking to me or I just am not very good at hearing from Him. Then I ask Him a question and I have an immediate answer and I realize, once again, the only time He is not speaking to me is when I am not speaking to Him. Why oh why do I wait so long between conversations? Believe me, He always has something good to say. I pray all the time, "Lord give me ears to hear, eyes to see and a heart to understand your ways." But, what good does it do me, or you if I have ears to hear and eyes to see and a heart to understand His ways if I don't enter into the conversation with Him in the 1st place? hmmm
Last night I asked the Lord what He wanted to talk to me about and He quickly answered Solomon. I thought, hmm Solomon. I opened my bible and it flipped open to the story of Solomon. To me, this is an example of all you gotta do is ask! He is so ready to speak to you and lead you to where He wants to take you. I implore you to take a moment and ask Him what He wants to talk to you about.
There are a lot of great things from Solomon's life in the 2 Chronicles 7-9 scriptures that the Lord is speaking to me about right now, but I will save those thoughts for later. I think He wanted you to know that He is listening. He is ready to speak. Are you ready to enter into the conversation with Him?

Quarantine yourself
On 12-29-08, the Lord gave me a word for myself and the congregation. The following is a portion of that word.
" Relegate the things of the past to the past and look to me. Allow me to be your rear guard, your buffer. I AM-Yes, I am that I am and I am for you. Quarantine yourself, quarantine yourself for a time of holiness. Go forth only as I tell you to. Create my presence by hearing my voice and listening to what you hear. I am as near as the whispers in the trees."
This morning, He reminded me of the part that reads, quarantine yourself. It is once again time to be quarantined from the needs of the world. Sometimes the cries of the earth and the people therein are so loud that it is difficult to pull away and focus on the Lord. I feel strongly that He is telling me, He can take care of those who are crying; those who are in need. He wants to talk to me. There have been times that He has told me, "Hear my voice and listen to what you hear." I know that sounds redundant, but how many times have you heard something and not listened to it? We live with so much background noise that we have learned how to tune out so many things. It is once again time to quarantine yourself, hear from the Lord and listen to what He is saying to you. I know it is a challenge in this ever busy world, but He wouldn't ask it if it wasn't possible.
Tonight I was reading Ezekiel 3:22-24 There the hand of the Lord was upon me and He said to me, "Arise, go out into the plain, and there I shall talk with you." So I arose and went out into the plain, and behold, the glory of the Lord stood there, like the glory which I saw by the river Chebar, and I fell on my face. Then the Spirit entered me and set me on my feet, and spoke with me and said o me; "Go shut yourself inside your house........ 27: But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them. 'Thus says the Lord God, He who hears, let him hear, and he who refuses, let him refuse, for they are a rebellious house.
When I read this, I was reminded of what He was speaking to me this morning about being quarantined. This scripture says "shut yourself inside your house'.... but when I speak with you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them.....
I think He was reminding me that when I am quarantined with Him, He speaks not only to me, but to you. I know that He is no respecter of persons and He wants to speak to you as well as to me. So, my friends, take this opportunity to set aside some significant time to wait upon the Lord so that He can speak to you and then open your mouth with His word.

It's not all about you!
I was reading the book of James today and there are so many good things in there. It is a quick read, if you haven't done your reading today, James would be a good place to start.
James 5:19-20 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.
As I read that passage, I was reminded of my first blog a few days ago. John 11:11 and Revelation 11:11 both talk about people being raised from the dead. Yes, I do plan on raising people from the dead- both physically and spiritually, who wants to do that with me? Okay, that was a rabbit trail. To get back on track now; When these people were raised from the dead, it benefited them greatly. Of course, they were no longer in heaven with the Lord which is our greatest benefit and prosperity, but to come back to life and be able to impact this world is profound. But, it is not only profound for them, it is profound for every one around them.
Just think about it. Lazarus had a mom that needed him, he had family and friends that counted on him. What if he was the only one in town that knew how to make shoes, what if he was the only one that knew how to start a fire, what if his job was to milk the cows? Of course each of these things I listed are silly examples and 'what ifs' but the reality is, everyone is counted on by someone in this life.
We are not here alone. You may feel alone and if so, it is time for you to do something for someone else. But, hear me now. You were not put here for isolation. You were put here to impact the lives of those around you. When you turn a sinner from the error of his way, when you bring someone back to life, physically or spiritually, you save a soul and cover a multitude of sins. When a multitude of sins is covered, when a person is brought back to life- these things impact people. When people are impacted, they look for the root of that impaction. The root of every thing you do should lead people back to the Lord. We need to look at the 2nd chances that the Lord gives to us and to those around us as opportunities to impact the world for the prosperity of the Kingdom of God. We need to work together to strengthen the inheritance of our Savior Jesus Christ. For Him and to Him, that should be our battle cry. Ask the Lord to show you how to impact someone for Him today.

A life praised of God
My good friend Tracy Cavelli Trussell has a radio program that airs every Tuesday called Embracing Gods Best. You can find a link to her website on my facebook page. She also has a blog www.tracywriting4him.blogspot.com The following comment is from her.
"I must say that my heart is very heavy tonight. The spiritual atmosphere of our Government must be addressed there are many decisions being made that will only further place our country at risk. The tide must turn, and in order for that to take place we must stand on the wall of prayer and drive it home! I really don't believe we understand the severity of this." Tracy
I was reading the scriptures tonight and this is where I started.
Ezekiel 39: 14 They will set apart men regularly employed with the help of a search party, to pass through the land and bury those bodies remaining on the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will make a search. The search party will pass through the land; and whenever anyone sees a man's bone, he shall set up a marker by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon Gog.
I then went back and did a little study on how these bones got there and why. The bones are from the people of Gog. They were led by the Lord to the mountain of Israel and demolished. Their bones were picked clean by birds of prey and the beasts of the fields, their possessions were so great, it took Israel 7 years to gather the spoils. Gog thought it had Israel in a strong hold. But God!!
I believe that Gog is the spirit driving what is going on right now in the world. But, it is just being led on by the Lord, so that in His victory, in our victory, All will know that Our God is the Lord. It is time for us to plunder those who have plundered us. So, as Tracy commented before, we are in a place where things must be addressed and we must pray. It is time to cleanse this land of the iniquities of Gog, then God will set His glory among the Nations!
Romans 2:29 but he is a Jew, who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.
Let's walk a holy and upright walk that the Lord is proud of. I want to be praised from God. I think this is one of my favorite scriptures. I desire to live a life praised of God. I hope as I press towards that goal, you will press in with me.

Who are you when.......
Tonight as I was washing my face, I was reminded of something that happened today. Greg and I were taping at TBN. We arrived at the studio around 12:30, signed consent forms in the green room, visited with Orlena, Cindy and Cheryl about how the show would look and what things we felt like the Lord was saying. About 30 or 40 minutes later we walked out onto the set, got miked, stood in one spot for quiet a while until the camera crew and the remaining team were ready to roll. Then, 3-2-1, we launched into the hour long interview, which certainly goes by so quickly that it is amazing. Then I left the platform and Greg did another quick 15 minute segment with Cheryl about the upcoming events she has in store for Arizona. This quick segment probably took about 30 minutes by time all the roll ins and outs and delays were done. We then proceeded to film approximately 10, 15 second greetings for TBN. One for each holiday of this and the coming year. These are filmed with a green screen back drop, so I am assuming they will place us in all sorts of exotic locales throughout the year! It will look like we always wear the same clothes, but thats part of the fun right?
Anyway, I say all that to say this. It takes a while to tape a program. The entire team was at the studio way before we were. They were setting up, checking lights, sound etc. for hours before we arrived. Today was an "off day" for filming, so many of the people were there working on this project when they most likely had some other work to do. When the project was wrapped for the day, I was walking down the studio hallway and one of the camera men was walking in the hallway at the same time. He had been on the camera the farthest from the door and was to me, the least visible person in the studio. As I walked near him, I said 'thank you." He seemed slightly startled for a second and then proceeded to thank me as well.
As this moment in time was brought to my remembrance, I felt the need to share with you, my dear readers, this question........
Who are you when the "important people' are not in the room? The slightly startled expression on the camera man's face gave me the impression that to most people that he films, he is not one of the important people, and even in this distinctly Christian environment, he is most likely, quite frequently over looked. Who are you when the "important people" are not in the room? I know how easy it is to over-look the people who are in the trenches really making things happen. Who are you when the maintenance man walks by, who are you when the dental tech is the only one in the room with you, who are you when the cashier rings up your groceries, who are you when the usher hands you a bulletin at church, who are you when your spouse or children are the only ones around?
Matt 25:30 When you have done it to the least of these my bretheren, you have done it unto me.
Do me a favor. Thank our camera men, our ushers, our kiosk team, or one of our many workers this weekend at church and carry out that mandate throughout your week. You will bless someone's life and your own in a way that you may never understand.

Isaiah 11:11 and more
So, I decided to start a blog in regards to the prophecies and other fun stuff in my life. Take this journey with me as I explore what the Lord is doing in and through my life. I hope we all have fun along the way. Be blessed
Kristen told me God had 11:11 for me and asked me what I was hearing in this.
My immediate thought was Isaiah 11:11
Later He took me to John 11:11
And then to Revelation 11:11
In all of these scripture references I noticed a common theme of 2nd chances.
